How To Write A Novel, Part 163

First, accept that the two photos below (or a similar setting) will comprise your entire scenic view while you write.

Second, try to embrace the fact that that acceptance has to persist for many, many, many hours.

Third, finish the $%#%#  novel.

LOL... my sticky notes are blue... always blue. Other than that... a very similar scene appears on my desk. :)

My postits are plain yellow ones. Yours are prettier.

But yes, indeed. Except, I also have loose pages with the chapter outline (much ammended), and the map of "the country", and a "calendar" that shows the progress of the characters, because I have to have them traveling at a reasonable number of miles per day, and so it's going to take them X number of days to get from Point A to Point B - and I need to know what the phase of the moon will be when they arrive at Point B.

And lots of more papers like that. :D

Writing is NOT a tidy activity.

LOL! We both use the same keyboard hooked to a mac. I don't like Mordorsoft at all, but the comfort curve keyboard is the best one I've ever used.

Thanks for the kick in the behind. I needed that to get the current rewrite done.
