The cover and title of Book Four of the Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica, to be released in October 2009.

The final cover was just finished, approved, and shown off to the sales force this week - so I'm showing this pretty early. But as I've said before, the readers of my journal include librarians, booksellers,, authors, artists, and some of my finest readers. So we're just going to consider this your Christmas present this year!

And for something REALLY sweet, after the jump you can see all four covers in a spread. Go Click!

magnifico! I can't wait to read it! I am a little sad though, because if we're coming up on world war II, then we're getting, historically, close to a very important event in these guys' lives... anywho, awaiting anxiously!

I picked the first one out on a whim when I was at Barnes and Noble and LOVED it. I just bought (and finished) the 2nd and 3rd on the train home from college for the weekend, and I must say I wish I had Hank's pocket watch--October is a LONG ways away! Thank you very much for the outstanding series and best of luck in the future!

Bravo and an Oops?
LOVE the stories. At first, I was a bit wary. Many of the premises felt and/or sounded familiar... yet, I was intrigued. The farther along I read, the more facinated I became. I love the way you are able to provide the literary allusions; yet, in most cases they were somewhat subtle (tee hee). Regrardless, I am really enjoying the stories and thrilled to hear there are more on the way. Just a quick discrepency from page 369 (The Indigo King; Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers, Hard Copy).... The Caretakers, et.al. are discussing what happened in the 6th century when Hugo Dyson threw the knife. Bert advised Hugo that he "botched that up, ... when you stabbed Merlin ... . Hugo threw the knife and stabbed Mordred. Mordred was then disqualified. Merlin became the winner until Thorn showed up. Anyway, I thought someone might want to make that adjustment for future printings. That might even make my copy be a collector's item in the future. Again, thanks for the wonderful stories, I am thrilled to know the next one comes out in October 2009. It will feel like a long wait. Krista Jasper

Absolutely Amazing
I'm a sucker for a good cover, which is what got me started on your books. The covers are brilliant! I can't believe you draw them yourself! Any idea what colour the next one will be? :)

Fantastic stories, as well! I'm really looking forward to the next four books. :)

Thank you
I've never used livejournal, but I hope this is an acceptable place to leave a thank you. I've been a fan of these books since the first one came out, especially as someone who loves the Lord of the Rings, the Silmarillian, and the Chronicles of Narnia. I'm really excited that there will be a fourth book, and more. Thank you for the preview of the cover. And, more importantly, I was finally bored enough to look up Charles Williams' work, since he was the one I didn't know, and I love his books. I probably never would have found his books if I hadn't read "Here, There be Dragons," and I'm really glad I did. So thank you.

this beats down everything
This beats down Narnia.
This beats down Lord of the Rings.
This beats down Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn.
This beats down Harry Potter.
This beats down twilight.
This beats down Eragon.
None of those authors are worthy to be in such a great book. Period.

Oh! I'm so thrilled! I cannot believe such a gem-of-a-series exists now, just when I thought today's authors had lost their creativity.

Well done! I'm enchanted by the world you've created!

I love how the books refernace other books and have charecters from differnt books in them. The only way to get all the secrets may be to read all the books in the world. Which I have.

Not really.

Cant wait for the next book to come out, and you said there would be seven in the first series. Does that mean there is going to be a second series and if so will it have the same charecters.
